Tappert Ergoplay guitar support – Just ($44.95 with FREE SHIPPING IN NORTH AMERICA – ADD $6.00 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE [BELOW] FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE US/CANADA).
I love the Tappert Ergo Play guitar rest ($44.95 with FREE SHIPPING) guitar support. The main advantage I have found over the professional model is added height and the curved suction cup holder (see inset photo below). This curved piece allows for greater flexibility in adjusting the suction cups to the contour of your guitar. I often play 2-3 hours continuously and the Ergoplay has dramatically reduced the discomfort in my hips. I have found the Tappert Ergo Play guitar rest ($44.95 with FREE SHIPPING) and the Gitano Guitar Support ($33.95), to be superior in operation to the other leading guitar supports. More and more I like the feel of the Tappert ($44.95) and/or Troster ($66.95) by Ergo-play. I use the Troster Ergo support ($66.95 with FREE SHIPPING ) exclusively for studio recording.
I recommend getting extra ErgoPlay Suction Cups ($2.75). They are expensive but I have not been able to find any generic suction cups in the US that will work as well.
The Tappert Ergo-Play guitar support ($44.95 with FREE SHIPPING) is far more flexible than the original Ergoplay Guitar Support ($38.95). Slotted grooves in either end allow the suction cups to be adjusted to the contour of your guitar for a better fit.
The Kling On Guitar Support Protector ($6.95) is suggested for use with matte finish guitars or French polished guitars.
