The Cling on ($6.50), can be removed and re-applied. Works with matte finishes (see instructions below). I have trouble keeping the suction cups on student's matte finish guitars and the Kling-on protectors work great. You get 2 pieces in a package. You need 1 for the Gitano Guitar Support ($33.95), and (2) for the Ergoplay Guitar Support ($33.95),

Disclaimer: I have read that a guitarist who left the Klingon ($6.50) protector on their guitar for a year found that the adhesive remained on the guitar and was quite difficult to remove. Occassional removal, (3-4 times/year) should prevent this.
Endorsed by Scott Tennant (LA Guitar Quartet) and David Russell.
For those who have experienced a "bubbling" effect on satin finish guitars I have received the following advice from Kling On ($6.50):
“ Leave the Suction Cup Protector on over night without putting on the guitar support. This allows a lot better adhesion and stops the cups from pulling it off before the adhesive can set. Also many of the new cups that come with the various supports are much stronger now days. We don’t want to go to a stronger adhesive and giving it overnight to set on the first night without any suction works very well. We’ve tested this ever since you notified us of the problem and haven’t had a failure yet.
